As the event is a qualifier for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, fnatic will be unable to claim that spot at the Showdown event in October.

The Alex "⁠ALEX⁠" McMeekin-led fnatic had a terrible CT side against the Brazilians on Mirage, and despite a pretty strong second half, fell to 00NATION 12-16, bowing out of Group B in third place. Despite their poor result in the event, AWPer Jack "⁠Jackinho⁠" Ström Mattsson still posted an average 1.13 rating over the three maps they played.
